Pilates that starts with why it hurts
You have tried classes, stretching and rest. The back, the hip or the knee still hurts. Clinical Pilates at Abbysan begins by finding the root cause, then uses Pilates to fix it.
A good class is not the same as the right exercise
You may already do Pilates. It feels good. The pain still comes back.
Think of the spine like a tent pole. If the ropes holding it pull unevenly from one side, the pole leans. You can tighten every rope you like. The pole still leans.
A general class strengthens everything evenly. If your pain comes from one side pulling harder than the other, even strengthening keeps the imbalance in place. The body is highly adaptive. It finds the path of least resistance, and that path is often the one that hurts.

Assessment first, exercise second
Clinical Pilates at Abbysan is one-to-one. It starts with a Foundation Assessment: 55 unhurried minutes with Dr. Abhishek to find what is driving the pain. Only then is an exercise chosen.
Where the pain is really coming from, which is often not where it hurts.
A plan built for your body, not a class timetable.
Reformer and Tower work that changes how you move, so the change lasts.

Before you begin
Is this a Pilates class?
No. Clinical Pilates at Abbysan is one-to-one and starts with an assessment. The exercises are chosen for what the assessment finds.
Do I need Pilates experience?
No. Most clients start with none.
What does the Foundation Assessment cost?
4,900 THB for 55 minutes with Dr. Abhishek.
Where are you?
Boat Lagoon in Ko Kaeo, and Alanna Wellness in Choeng Thale.
I am waiting for an MRI. Should I wait to start?
An assessment does not replace a scan, and it does not need one to begin. It looks at how you move, which a scan cannot show. If anything suggests you need medical review first, we will tell you.
Find the root cause before you choose a treatment
Clinical Pilates begins where all good care does — by reading your body before anything is prescribed.
