Power Pilates Training Program Details
The Core Mat I program is the foundation of the Power Pilates method. Each subsequent program builds upon the information learned during this course. During this weekend you will learn to teach the 18 beginner level mat exercises and be introduced to Power Pilates teaching tools, philosophy, and teaching formula. Every student new to Power Pilates must start with Core Mat I. Core Mat I & II are required to progress to the Comprehensive program.

No. You must attend the entire program to earn your certificate.
Yes, students will receive their certificates upon completion of each course and passed their exams.
For Core Mat 1 – the students will complete their exam on the final day of the training weekend.
For the Reformer 1 – each student will need to complete 100 hours (including the weekend training lecture hours) of teaching practice, study and self-practice and then schedule a final exam date. We can schedule this as a group exam so all students can get it done at the same time or schedule them individually.
In this practical exam, students will demonstrate their teaching of the material to a peer on video for a Teacher Trainer to observe and evaluate.
Once the education department receives all results from their Teacher Trainer, students will be sent the physical certificates by mail or be informed to collect from studio (Abbysan).
Yes. A Power Pilates certification is recognized and honored internationally, however, certifications will need to be renewed with Power Pilate every 2 years to remain active.
